Thank you corona, you are an eye-opener!

New Delhi, MARCH 29, 2022
It has been two years now that the coronavirus has changed our lives. Mankind is witness that innovation is born in adversity. We all have been pushed to change our working, learning, and living styles. To build our capacity, to think out of the box, to brainstorm, to reinvent!

Acknowledging all the challenges it has brought with it, one thing we all agree on is that the lives we lead in isolation have now become more visible to our loved ones, especially our children, the future of tomorrow.

The batch of 2021-22 promoted to Class 1 is undeniably a special batch. Probably it was God’s will to have chosen these young minds to be pioneers to experience a new form of education.  To graduate be promoted to formal school without seeing what a school looks like, without ever attending a physical class, or having met their friends or teachers in person, this batch showcases the immense potential we possess to revamp teaching methodology as well expectations of adaptation from children.

We are well aware that between the age of three and six years, a child's mind is like a sponge. In these formative years, he absorbs all that he perceives around him. This period is therefore very crucial in a child's life. Despite being home-bound, in front of a screen for these fundamental two years, these brave hearts have completed all milestones successfully.

The credit also goes to the school authorities, who have left no stone unturned in providing a carefully-planned environment run by properly-trained adults who promised to aid the development of each and every child's personality and intellect in this critical phase of his life.

Never had any school across the globe thought of an online fancy dress competition or even a Christmas party! But today, it’s a common thing. For teachers have upgraded their software skills and transformed their profession into an online mode. From blackboard and chalk to designing online quizzes, from holding hands to gripping a pen to teaching them cursive writing on jam boards, the transition for teachers has not been easy, but their spirits have always been high and intentions noble. Today, technology and well Corona, have made them equipped to teach any student sitting across the globe with just a click of a button.

On the other side, as parents, Corona definitely limited our physical movement but expanded our reach to multiple environments.  Offices went online, and Wi-Fi became mandatory at home. High-profile board meetings and kindergarten online classes took place in the same room, simultaneously.

Never before has a parent been allowed to witness his child’s classroom environment, or performance in an exam. Nor could we ever imagine children present in boardrooms subconsciously listening to important deliberations on national or international topics of concern. Today, we know it’s possible and may even have a positive exposure impact on these young brains. Isn’t this amazing! Would we have pushed our own capacities if there was no pandemic? Well, I don’t think so!

So again, thank you Corona!
