New Delhi, Sep 10, 2023. Received 'Aatmabhivyakti Ke Swar', a collection of spiritual poems, penned by Sh. Tej Prakash and published under a very beautiful cover by Medha Books, New Shahadara, Delhi. Went through the whole collection. Liked it very much. A kind of a state of peace descended on the mind. Many many thanks and congratulations to the poet.

What has impressed me most in this collection of poems, and which I would like to specifically mention, is the confluence of spirituality and nature. A very intimate relationship exists between the nature and the spiritual experiences. The poet in his poem 'Vanshi' says – 'Maath per/aakash ke/chadh hi raha tha/sindoor-sa aarakt woh teeka.'....... Us / laal gole / thaal se / prasphutit hoti hui / kirno / ne mujh ko / jyon chua / laga murli baji / au' us ke / swar chide / mere dhyan me.'

The poet is standing on the bank of high seas. It is raining. Perceiving water fall of God's kindness therein is enchanting – 'Mai khada / sagar kinare / shwet-shyam ghatao / se jharti / uttapt tan / ko bhigoti / man / ko sahlati / jal ki nirmal dhar me / utar raha hai / teri aparimit / snehil daya ka / divya nirjhar.' Further you will see that the poet also perceives water fall of kindness imbued with compassion in the milky sea foam as well- 'Sudoor talak phaile, / bahut gehre / sagar se / ek ke baad ek / lahron pe sawar, / doodhiya pheno ka roop dhare, / aa raha hai / teri aseemit / karunadra daya / ka divya nirjhar.'

The image of mist which the poet has sketched in his poem 'Mantra' has come out very well - 'Anavrat nabh se / anal ke sopano se / tirta, utarta / neelvarni, swarnabh / woh / gehra kuhaasa hai.' It is worth seeing what the imagination of the poet under the shadow of spirituality finds- 'Kal ki / chichli nadi ki / ret ki / geeli hatheli par / nishpap woh / chupchap likhta hai-/ ik mantra / mujhe / aahoot karne ko.'

The poem by the name 'Prakriti Tumhari' has been successful in presenting a very beautiful picture of the dawn- 'Doodhiya chand / tandril; / nabh / utaar chadar / gehri kali nisha ki / neel vasan / dharne ko vyakul hai; / sindoori rekh / prachi / ke kshitij par / khichne / ko aatur hai; / hawa me khunki hai; / pakshigan hain kalravrat / are! / ye pau phatne ka sama hai.'

Very early in the morning, at the time of 'Mangal Aarti' of the deity in the temple, how beautiful the nature looks and how attractive a sketch is etched on the mind's slate has been well chiseled by the poet in his poem 'Pratham Darshan' – 'Vyom ki / kaali siyahi / ko pheench  / utar aayee hai / pat khol / prabha / halki neeli-si / gulabi roli / au' peeli roshnai / ke rang bhar / nikal padi hai / prachi / dulhan ki / doli si.' ........... 'Garbhgrah ke pat / khulne ko hain / au' nagare-ghante ke beech / mangal aarti / hone ko hai.' The poet has in a very beautiful manner illustrated the feeling of presence of God in every particle by mixing it with the behaviour of nature in his poem 'Zarre-Zarre Mein Tum'- 'Shwet-shyam badra / umadte-ghumadte, / chamakti,  chitakti / daamini / au' baarish ki phuhar / itra-si / kachchi maati / sondhi mehakti; / maryada ko tod / uphanati nadi; / phir ret geeli / au' jami-si / au' in sabhi / ke zarre -zarre mein tum.'

The poet is sitting with his bag spread out waiting for the boom coming in with the first ray of the Sun. The poet seems to say this very thing in his poem 'Teri Pehchan'- 'Usha ki lalima / chant ti hui- / tarawaliyon / ko duboti-/ teri daya / ka ghat / bhar / ke laati hai / surya ki / pehli kiran / andhere / se ujaas / ki rekh par / tere vardaan ko / apni anjuri / mein sajati hai / au' isi liye / pau ke phatne tak-/ apni jholi / akinchan main / pasaar baitha hoon.'

The presentation of the book is praise worthy. Congratulations to the publisher. We hope, that this spiritual journey of the poet through poems will continue. Our good wishes with the poet.
