VARANASI, January 24, 2019: The holy city of Banaras (Varanasi) is witnessing a massive gathering of non-resident Indians (NRIs) from across the globe as the 15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) begin in Varanasi on Monday. Thousands of participants from 85 countries have arrived in the city for the three-day event.

Several members of Indian Diaspora, attending the Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas (PBD) at Varanasi are openly praising the good works done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also advocating for the second term for him. Non-Resident Indians have formed several Whatsapp group also like “Modi Once More – NRI Cell”.

Sonvir Singh, one of the participants in the PBD and Managing Director of Shri Krishna overseas Ltd Kenya and also Chairman of Rajasthan Association of Kenya, expressed same feelings while talking to the Indian Observer Post and said,

“We realized that under the Modi Govt, our country is changing and getting great respect in the whole world. We need Modi not only once more, but forever. Then only our country will become Vishwa Guru. We pray for this. Thanks to all great team-work which is giving positive energy to us.”

Talking about the inspiration he got from this PBD, Sonvir Singh said, “Our team-work and hard work will definitely make difference to our Indian community. I am also a businessman, Managing Director of Shri Krishna overseas Ltd.”

“I am pleased to inform that it is the great experience and great opportunity to attend Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2019 and representing Rajasthan association of Kenya as chairman and overseas BJP Kenya PR and youth and business,” Sonvir Singh said. 
 

He further said, “We were able to meet so many BJP overseas leaders from different countries. We also got a chance to meet External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj Ji. She is personally taking care of all NRIs attending this PBD. We also met Subodh Agrawal, Principal Secretary of Industries of Rajasthan Govt. We also met heads of many organizations that can help us to make our country stronger in future.”
