Six compendiums of his Hindi poems have been published under the titles "Manonukriti", "Aayu Pankh", "Chirantan", "Unmukta", "Maun Aur Shoonya" and "Nirmal Dohey". "Manonukriti" has been translated into English and published with the title "The Images".
A Bengali translation of 30 Hindi poems penned by West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi, christened "Keshari Nath Tripathir Nirbachito Kabita" (Selected poems of Keshari Nath Tripathi), was released by veteran Bengali writer Nabanita Deb Sen at the Raj Bhavan in May 2017. The poems, which express a wide range of emotions including humanity and love, were translated by Nani Sur.
Tripathi took oath as Governor of West Bengal on 24 July 2014 and as Governor of Bihar on 27 November, same year. He was sworn in as the Governor of Mizoram on 4 April 2015. Earlier, he was the president of Uttar Pradesh unit of Bharatiya Janata Party. Tripathi practiced as a Senior Advocate at Allahabad High Court.
At the very outset, all the artists and audience stood up and kept one minute silence in the memory of the martyrs of Pulwama.
Various poems written by Governor Shri Tripathi were recited in Hindi, English, Bengali and Urdu versions. A large group of eminent persons and people from Cultural field were present in the function.
