Tourism, tradition, art & culture and ambience of Bihar will be showcased in Bihar utsav 2019 to be organized from 16th to 31st March at INA Dilli Haat in Delhi

Bhagalpuri silk, Mithila paintings, Siki products, Jute products like Jute jewellry, Tikuli Art, Nepura silk of Nalanda & famous handloom bed sheets of Biharsharif will be some of the great attractions at this festival at INA Dilli Haat.

New Delhi, March 19, 2019: Bihar Utsav 2019 has become the uniting factor for the people of Bihar and lovers of Bihari art and culture in the national capital Delhi.

Bihari culture, which is referred to the culture of the Indian state of Bihar, includes Mithila culture, Bhojpuri Culture, Angika Culture, Vajjika Culture and the culture of Magadha. Bihari People from different walks of life gather here to feel at home and assimilate with their own culture.

Not only Biharis, even the People from other states living in Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region) are also gathering to catch a glimpse of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Bihar and The living art and craft traditions exquisite handloom weavers at Bihar Utsav 2019.

On the Foundation Day of Bihar, the Bihar Utsav will showcase the Tourism, tradition, art & culture and ambience of Bihar in Delhi. Exhibition of jute handicraft and handloom product of Bihar is being showcased till 31st March through 110 Stalls.

Bihar Foundation Day is celebrated every year on 22nd March since the year 2010. To mark the occasion Department of Industry, Govt. of Bihar organizing 15 days long “Bihar Utsav 2019 and Handloom & Handicrafts Exhibition cum Sale” at INA, Dilli Haat in Delhi from 16th to 31st March 2019.

Bihar Utsav 2019 is being organized in Delhi by the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar and BIADA (Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority).

The exhibition is decorated by the MOD Interior as per the theme of tourism, tradition, art & culture and ambience of Bihar.

The attraction of this Exhibition cum sale of handicraft and is handloom product of Bihar made by artisans of Bihar, Showcase of art, culture and heritage of Bihar, and showcase of “Tourism, tradition, art & culture and ambience of Bihar”.

Apart from this Food stall featuring a menu of mouth watering Bihar Cuisine at INA Dilli haat is also an Attraction for this year Bihar Utsav in Delhi.

The attraction of the coming visitors, there will be replica of historical monuments, tradition art & culture in the entrance gate of Dilli Haat.

Stalls of Handloom, Handicrafts. Bhagalpuri silk, Mithila paintings, Siki products, Jute products like Jute jewellry, Tikuli Art, Nepura silk of Nalanda & famous handloom bed sheets of Biharsharif will be some of the great attractions at this festival at INA Dilli Haat.

Bihar Utsav 2019 not only includes the handloom & handicraft products but also includes famous cuisine of Bihar like Litti choka, Son Papdi, Makhna Kheer, Belgrami etc. People from different part of Delhi also reached at Bihar Utsav to taste the delicious food of Bihar.

Main attractions on the different Stalls are Bhagalpuri silk, Madubani paintings, Siki products, famous handloom bed sheets of BasBigha wooden craft and leather products.

On the occasion of Bihar Utsav cultural Program and Musical evening will be organized on 22, 23 and 24 march at INA Dilli haat.
