BJP Targets to Divide the Protestors of CAB in Assam!
Party aims to win at least 10 out of 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam

Guwahati, March 24, 2019: The ruling party BJP will contest in ten constituencies and remaining four will be contested by their alliance partner AGP and BPF in Assam. The regional party AGP has declared the candidature for Kaliabar parliamentary constituency i.e Moni Madhab Mahanta.

It is important to mention here that Gaurav Gogoi, the son of former CM Tarun Gogoi is the Congress candidate of that particular constituency.“BJP will win in the majority of seats of Assam and there will be a tough fight at Kalibar, Dhubri and Barpeta Lok Sabha Seats.
The sitting MPs who have not received tickets will also take part in the campaign” says Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

On the other hand, R.P.Sarmah, the present MP of Tezpur constituency says “The present candidate Pallav Lochan has not informed me regarding his candidature. And I do not want to take part in the campaign.”
Meanwhile, Ram Madhav, the In Charge of BJP in the North East Region, declares today that “The party president Amit Shah and Narendra Modi do not want that Himanta Biswa Sarma should confine at a single constituency only, where he has to look after at least six governments of North Eastern region. So, he was suggested not to contest from Tezpur.”

It is important to mention here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come in 30th March to address an election rally at Moran in North Assam. Some leaders of the local organization will join in the BJP on that particular day.

Those among prominent leader is Aswini Chetia, adviser of All Assam Tai Ahom Students Union (AATASU) along with some of his colleagues. It is very important to mention here that AATASU has been playing a major role against Citizenship (Amendment ) Bill.

And AATASU is one of the organizations who has been protesting against CAB along with other 69 organizations of the state.

BJP Gears up for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2019 in Assam
Shri Ram Madhav, General Secy of National Bharatiya Janata Party attended the Mass Rally held at Diphu as Chief Guest and sought votes for Horensing Bey BJP MP Candidate who is contesting from Number - 3 Autonomous District ( ST) Parliamentary Constituency, Diphu.
Attended by Tuliram Ronghang, CEM KAAC with Minister Pijush Hazarika, MP Ramen Deka, Speaker KAAC Longki Timung, Deputy Speaker KAAC Mr Ritesh Enghi, MLAs Dr Mansing Rongpi, Dr Numol Momin with all EMS, MACs, District BJP, Mahila, Yuwa Morcha Presidents/ Secretaries of both Districts and party workers.
Besides this, Congress workers led by Mrs Kuntila Ronghangpi EX- EM along with 1300 Congress workers have joined the Saffron Party.
