After interrogating the drug peddler, he revealed that the recovered suspected WY tablets were handed over to him by one unknown person from Mayanmar where he was instructed to hand over the same to another person at Guwahati said Jogeshchandra.
Informing that the frisking was a part of the drive undertaken under Campaign against drugs and no drugs, he also appealed the masses to support the campaign taken up by Imphal east police. The suspected WY tablets is valued to be 1.5 Crore approximately in the international market, he added.
He also said that further investigation is going on to arrest the individual in Guwahati where the contrabands are reported to be delivered.
