Manipuri Boy Bags Mr National Universe Title

Manipur, July 2, 2019: Twenty one year old Manipuri won the National Universe Title in Thailand on Monday.

The state of Manipur which is believed to be the power house of sports has now youth gaining traction towards other fields as well.

The 21 years old engineering student Vikas Usham who hails from Manipur, Haraorou, Imphal East said "I have never ever dreamt that I would gain something marvelous in my life.I therefore showed my gratitude to my country, especially to my state Manipur" for bagging the Mister National Universe which I consider to be a biggest achievement in my life"

It is worth mentioning that earlier, in the same year at March , he bagged "BEACH BOY" in male category at the Body Power Beach Carnival in Goa

Vikas Usham, a handsome lad whose heights stand tall with 5’11 inch is popularly known as a commercial model has magical hands on his culinary skills.

The event is consider as one of the most exciting male pageants at the grand ballroom of Holiday Nava in Hua Hin ,Thailand.

This is not the first time in which India have won the pageant. Earlier Pankaj Ahlawat bagged the title in 2017. And this time, the last year's winner from Nepal Kaushik Prasai assisted with the crowning.

Followed by 1st Runners up Mister National World, Jan Kim Santos Vergei from Mindoro Island ( Philippines), 2nd runners up Mister National Globe, Caleb Zheng Eg French from Malaysia, 3rd runners up Mister National Earth, Duc Hieu Dang from Vietnam and 4th runners up Mister National Intercontinental, Alexander Coles from United Kingdom.

The 9 day sojourn in Thailand had semi-finalist from Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, UK, Manipur,Malaysia, Brazil, Mindoro Island, Russia, Puerto Rico.
