The HOW Forum Launches First Corporate Diva Delhi Chapter

New Delhi, Sep 12, 2019: With four editions behind in Bangalore and a tribe of 60+ carefully selected women who’ve witnessed this one of its kind developmental journeys, Corporate Diva launched and auctioned its First-Ever Delhi Chapter on the 7^th and 8^th of September, 2019.

Organised by The H.O.W. Forum, Corporate Diva is spearheaded by its Founder Chairperson Dipika Trehan, a daughter of the Indian Armed Forces, wife of a senior pharma executive, a mother of two teenage kids.

The Corporate Diva two-day program was just the beginning towards the development of a women Tribe that learns and develops together, supports and builds each other, a tribe that lives and breathes empowerment in its truest sense.

The Tribe consists of corporate women who’ve not only been champions in their career, but also life. Women who’ve embraced and fought breast Cancer, organ donors and life challenge conquer.

They empowered a fellow tribe member and Winner of Corporate Diva Edition 1; Sangeeta Roy Chaudhary by supporting her book launch of poetic expressions on women empowerment.

Winner: Monarky Jain, an Aircraft acquisition and financing professional.

1^st Runnerup: Arushi Sachdeva, a Marketing Lead in a renowned multinational company.

2^nd Runner up: Chandra Ramakrishnan: Senior accounts Director in a reputed organisation.

Ms. Trehan, an alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad, Cherie Blair Foundation for women in business and Women Economic forum was applauded in person by Cherie Blair for her work in the Corporate Wellbeing and empowerment space. She in November 2018 was awarded a 4 week scholarship by the government of Israel to represent India in the ‘Innovation in women’s Health’ program, Haifa Israel.

Ms. Trehan comes with experience and expertise in HR, however, a self-journey led her towards women’s wellness and empowerment, which each year scales new heights due to her intent, passion, determination, and perseverance.

The Jury Panel of Corporate Diva Delhi Chapter Edition 1 consisted of stalwarts like Dr. Anurag Batra (Chairman and Editor in Chief, BW Business World, Maj D. P. Singh, Kargil war veteran, India’s first Blade runner and Amputee skydiver; Ms. Kavitha Rao, Founder CEO Learners Route and Ms. Amrit Ahuja, Ex. Communications Director Facebook India.

The H.O.W. Forum is an organisation been in existence for the past 5 years. It all began with the founder’s personal journey on wellness and the lack of a platform which brought forth the importance of Women prioritising self and their well being.

The H.O.W. Forum today has four verticals; Wellness, women empowerment, women safety and early stage entrepreneur development.

Corporate Diva is an annual event, which represents the empowerment vertical of the organisation.

Corporate Diva conceptually came into life, when its founder, Dipika Trehan realised the lack of a platform that celebrates a woman beyond mere physical beauty.

It not only brings forth the intellect, caliber and best practice sharing of women at work, but Corporate Diva also enables them to embark on a two-day self-development journey to embrace leadership more efficiently.

The two-day Corporate Diva Delhi program involved sessions by experts on innovative thinking, thought leadership, self-discipline, their well being and stress management, women’s safety, self-discipline in leadership, sensitizing gender intelligence and most importantly self-introspection. The second day was a competitive streak, through which the most deserving winners were announced by an esteemed panel of inspirational jury.

The participants on board for this journey were senior-mid management Corporate employees and established entrepreneurs, who went through a strict selection process, basis not only their professional accomplishment but more importantly their personality and attitudinal attributes.
