New Delhi: The Promising Indian Society (PIS), and DigiGaon, has jointly conferred ‘Prima Donna-Women of Substance Award’ to 11 exceptional Women Achievers in Delhi.

These 11 exceptional Women Awardees were Archana Gulati (Niti Aayog), Sunita Sanghi (MSDE), Shivani Malik (Da Milano), Swati Rangachari (Sterlite Tech.), Ira Singhal (NDMC), Aparajita Prasad (MetaConnect), Manjushree Dayanand (FORE Society), Soni Sharma (Kalalyst Global), Leena Johri (Dept. Of Rural Development), Shilani Sadh (Shilanisadh Digital Media and Marketing), Sarita (Police Inspector).

Prima Donna- Women of Substance event was celebrated on 8th of March 2020 on the International Women's Day at CSOI, Vinay Marg, New Delhi.

Mr. Abhay Gupta, Founder & CEO of Luxury Connect was the Guest of Honour on this occassion.

The event was jointly organised by the Promising Indian Society (PIS), and DigiGaon, an initiative formed to empower rural women through digital platforms, to celebrate the achievements of women viz. “Prima Donna-Women of Substance”.

The Promising Indian Society was established to recognize and reward the success stories of Indians and Persons of Indian Origin who are making a mark with their work worldwide and provide a platform for equal-for-all networking and collaborative business opportunities to all Indians across the globe.

PIS also has a property called Promising Indian’s Awards which is in its 4^thedition, designed to be a celebration of excellence as well as a coming together of the Indian diaspora to collaborate for a better and brighter future. The PIS society has reached lives of more than 60,000 NRIs/PIOS and Eminent Indians in just three years of its existence.

This social event was hosted by Prerna Singh, the young and dynamic Founder President of PIS to award 11 successful Indian women who have not only played a pivotal role in the Indian economy but also opened up many opportunities for the society.

The event was attended by several bureaucrats, investors, delegates, Key Policy Makers, members of Think Tanks, Business Leaders, Members of Government and Non-Government Organisations, Young Entrepreneurs, and CEOs/CXOs.

During the event, an initiative called “FOXHOG by Promising Indians” was launched by Ms. Prerna Singh with Mr. Tarun Poddar, which seeks to identify talented start-ups and fund them. FOXHOG will call for talented individuals and firms to present their projects for evaluation and possible investment.

The Society is also launching its membership drive to individuals/professionals, corporates and students who are looking to expand their network and business opportunities by creating opportunities for  participating in meetings, webinars, workshops, events and to get assistance in PR activities. Members will also be getting advisory services for their investing needs, setting up new business, JVs/ Mergers, Discount in sponsorship fees, opportunity to speak on events, Free subscription to magazines.
