This incident, which created a massive political row, took place when a group of villagers stopped the men while they were on their way to a funeral in Silvasa and attacked them with stones, logs and axes.
“I made a call to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackery, in reference to the murder of saints, Swami Kalpvriksh Giri, Swami Sushil Giri and their driver Neelesh Telgarhe. And I requested him to take the strict action against the culprits,” Yogi Adityanath had said in a tweet after the incident.
Added another tweet, he conveyed, ‘The Chief Minister of Maharashtra assured him that, over hundred people has been arrested for the same, and the strict action will be initiated against the accused persons after their identification.’
How could we claim to be in the democratic nation, whereas due to the diminution of values within us, we are losing the fundamental and elemental feature of the democracy which is to protect the life and the liberty of the citizens first?
Once Mahatma Gandhi had stated that ‘One must not lose faith in humanity’, but unpleasantly it had to be mentioned that humanity had somewhere lost its esteem from the hearts of the so called humans nowadays.
One way or another, with no trouble we can categorize the humans in four sets, one; who are the sufferers, two; who are the problem makers, third; who are the silent percipients & forth; the demonstrators or the protesters. Amongst all these, most of us come under the third ‘Cool’ category; the ‘silent spectators’.
In spite of doing something conjointly, we try to enjoy our liberty and prosperity rather than to rescue others’ as well.
We, the PEOPLE of India, have solemnly resolved to constitute India into a sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic republic; and now we are very much busy in consuming the sanitizers like crazy these days to clean our red hands, stained with other human’s blood. It is certainly shameless and terrifying.
Now the questions arises, how would these peers justify their causes of getting involved in such inhuman acts, how would it be possible to stop these vigilante attacks over the other communities at any point of time, what measures should be taken for controlling these sort of human lynching, and how would the religious actions and the motions stop completely being accomplished?
Somehow if we observe, we find that the Virus is spreading the message of being non-violent, to be quarantined, peaceful, helping for others and to keep renunciated from the worldly desires, and this is the high time to learn the basic moral values, norms of the cultures, authenticity of religion, accurate traditions and the tenderness in nature on the humanitarian ground, which is highly required at this stage of life.
If India wants to become a progressive country, the above questions have to be clarifying shortly.
