“Child protection & Child’s Right is a must need for the society as Children are the future of every country,” said Shri Anil Swarup (Rtd IAS), Founder Chairman of Nexus of Good Foundation and Former Secretary, Government of India. He was speaking on the occasion of web launching of a Book Titled “Government Schemes for Child Protection in India” authored by Dr. Rubee Singh & Dr Sonali Mishra on Sunday.

In his address Shri Anil Swarup complimented the authors Dr. Rubee & Dr Sonali for having the vision and courage to jointly author a book and speak on the social issues.

On this occasion, Dr. Kalpana Gopalan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports, Government of Karnataka said in her address, “Nutrition and Education for Children is most important in our society and the country. And we must ensure to provide it to all.”

Shri Ram Charitra DIG, CRPF Range, Bhubaneswar, North Odisha in his opening remark briefly talked about the details of the book (195 Pages -7 Units) and suggested the authors to translate the book into regional languages so that it can be further distributed to other districts.

Looking at the COVID-19 Pandemic Global Crisis and strictly Following the Instruction of WHO and Government of India, and to support the global mission of social distancing, the organisers decided to E-Launch the book by avoiding social gathering as instructed by the Government. The Book was launched through Zoom-Meeting App on Sunday, 14, 2020 at 4:00PM-5:00PM.

This Book is collection of Government schemes at central, state and district level also to provide deep knowledge of child’s right in India. The authors have written the book keeping in mind that a nation’s children are a “supremely important national asset”, and the future well-being of a nation depends upon how its children grow and develop.

Looking at the sensitive issue “Children” both the women Authors have tried to highlight about how the Government and NGO are trying to control the child abuse by discussing different laws in their Book

The session was further covered by the panel discussion on the topic Public Policy & Law Implementation for Child Protection & Child’s Right in India

The speakers who have contributed their valuable insight on the topic were Urvashi Prasad Policy Specialist NITI Aayog, Govt. of India, Mr. Ashish Kumar Senior Faculty–Vision IAS, Founder–Trust IAS & Adv Sumitra Choudhary from Supreme Court of India.

The panel discussion covered the policies & laws to protect the abounded children as stated in the Book. Also, it was discussed by Mr Ashish Kumar Founder of Trust IAS how the students will be benefited by the book who are preparing for UPSC Civil services, Law students and Police officers. 

The event was attended online at zoom meeting by Students, Researchers, Dean, Directors, NGO heads, Civil Servants & Media Professionals.Book Launch was hosted  by International Journal of Academic Research in Social Sciences & Humanities, Hyderabad  ISSN: 2454-2202(www.ijarsh.com) in collaboration with Centre for Socio Economic & Business Studies, Hyderabad.

On this Web Launch Dr. S. Rajesh IFS Director- NITI Aayog Director COVID-19 Core TeamMinistry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India was awarded as Corona- warrior by IJARSH JOURNAL, Hyderabad and CSEBS.

At the end, vote of thanks was given by the Authors Dr. Rubee and Co-Author Dr. Sonali to all the Participants special guests & media professionals for attending the Web-Launch of the book.

About Authors

Dr. Rubee Singh is a National Record setter in Book Writing for IBM book by India Book Records 2020 as declared on 2 May 2020. She was Selected as Grand Master in Book writing by Asia Book of Records 2021 Edition in Asia Region for IBM Book. She also got title of ‘Child Ambassador – India’ by happy Amabasador concept Finland and also by ‘My body is My Body Child Abuse Prevention Programme’, UK. She is First International Supporter to deadly Gurdian Australia (Child’s Rights Organization).

Dr. Sonali Mishra is an Editor, Author, Educationist and a Humanitarian. She is a professor of English in Symbiosis University, INDIA. Also associated with Amity University Noida, VIT University, Vellore (T.N.) Recently, Dr. Mishra has received a prestigious award in the field of Research -‘Young Scientist Award’ 20 by Elsevier Research Award at International Level on this IWD20.
