COVID-19 Positive Actress and Model Ishika Borah Threatens to Suicide

Ishika Borah, a Bollywood actress, nude art Artist, and a famous Model, who was featured on the Cover of international magazine ‘Debonair’ for four times, has threatened to commit suicide. She was diagnosed COVID-19 positive and is forcefully admitted to government hospital at Nagaon in Assam.

New Delhi, June 28, 2020: A worrisome news is coming from Assam. Ishika Borah, a Bollywood actress, nude art Artist, and a famous Model, who was featured on the Cover of international magazine ‘Debonair’ for four times, has threatened to commit suicide.

Model Ishika Borah was diagnosed COVID-19 positive on June 24 when she had gone to visit her home town Nagaon in Assam. She was routinely checked up and was found suffering from minor cough and cold and subsequently she was forcefully admitted in the district Government hospital at Nagaon.

“I had mild temperature of may be Covid, but I could have quarantined at home for 14 days as per the govt instructions.

Pls help me I am getting distressed & Suicidal tendencies because of depression now,” Ishika said in a distress phone call from her hospital bed while talking to Indian Observer Post.

Ishika threatens to commit suicide because of the unhygienic environment, Cold food & water given to her, including taking bath in dirty bathroom.

She was not treated well by the Medical stuff. No Doctor Or Nurse came to see her as they were scared. Unhygienic food is given to her which is spoiling her health more. It's effecting her mental & emotional health too as she is an orphan.

“My point is, if you can’t treat me well, then leave me on my mercy and will. I exercises at home, eat healthy diet. For this minor temperature, I could have taken care of myself more better way with organic medicines, herbs, soups, vitamin c fruit etc.,” said Ishika.

“No Doctor & no Nurse has ever came to see us, so why they kept us here,” asked Ishika with anger and frustration.

Making a serious allegation against the Doctor of the Nagaon Hospital, Ishika said, “Dr. Mukut Bora is very disgraceful in treating patients, his ego is much bigger than the cause to treat patients kindly & being gentle.”

“My friends are trying to reach out to him (Dr. Mukut Bora) to ask about me, but he blocks their calls & doesn't respond to text messages. He throws medicines from far, and says they are scared,” Ishika said.

Ishika Borah has done several International print shoots (Concept, Jewellery and Fashion) in Mauritius and Dubai.

“I know about the basic treatment of Covid 19 which can be cured by organic way,” said the Model, who has been featuring for print shoots in India for Indianwear, Westernwear, Swimwear chiefly for the last 5 years, and also participated in the fashion shows for Zee TV/ETC Channels etc.

She has also done a festival movie by the name "KOUTUHOL" and was featured in the Hindi movie "2 LITTLE INDIANS".

Ishika has been featured in many music albums, and currently she is doing 2 South Indian Film projects.

Ishika has requested the state Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal, and state Health Minister to allow her to go back on her own will.

“I will appreciate, if you kindly allow me to go out from this dirty place along with many other girls who are suffering mentally, emotionally,” said Ishika Bora.
