Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh, June 30, 2020: Many weeks of national lockdown have given India the time to make a concerted effort to flatten the pandemic’s curve. Now attention is shifting to reopening the economy while containing the virus: a conundrum many other nations are also grappling with. In this situation, some states planned total lock down up to July 31'st 2020.

In the past weeks, India’s economy has functioned at 49 to 57 percent of its full activity level, by our estimates. That economic cost, though unavoidable in the early stages of a lockdown, might not be sustainable in the longer term.

It is becoming increasingly clear that COVID-19 will not disappear immediately; the economy will need to be managed alongside persistent infection risks, possibly for a prolonged period. After reopening, some countries have needed to resume lockdowns in response to rising infection rates, and India may be no exception.

When India is not an exception to resume lock down, it is nearly a confusion situation when Central Government announced Unlock down 2.0 knowingly that Some states already announced Lockdown until July 31'st  2020.

How Indian businesses, consumers, and workers are equipped to resume their activities, even amid the ebb and flow of the virus, will decide how lives and livelihoods fare in India.

Effective management of lockdowns, along with health-system preparedness to manage and contain the virus, will be a critical capability for Indian administrators, since restarting the economy comes with risks.

The lockdown- and restart-management capability will have to be granular and dynamic, with local implementation closely aligned to state- and central-government policy and support from high-quality communication.

It is also disturbing and difference of opinions between the Delhi State and Central Government. On one side State Government of Delhi is announcing there will be 5 lac Patients up to July 31'st, While Home Minister of India is taking the statement as Wrong statement. These Statements is really confusion to the People.

In Andhra Pradesh, Collector of Krishna District announces Full lockdown from 28'th June to 5'th July 2020 in Vijayawada. But in 5 min, the order is been cancelled. In other words there is confusion in decision between decision makers from Central to Local Bodies.

It is really a disturbing situation in the state of Telangana. Home Minister & Dy. Speaker of the State has Covid-19 positive and State declared Strict Lockdown but Migrants from Bihar is returning back by Danapur-Secunderabad Covid-19 express from 1'st July 2020 to 4'th July 2020....In other words there is no proper Inter-state understanding too.

It is million dollar question to all of us , in what way we are right now Unlock down 2.0 or Lockdown 6.0.
